 About Dr Ashton-Shaw 
Dr Ashton-Shaw is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years' experience working with adluts, children, adolescents and their families in the areas of mental health, parenting support and deliberate self-harm. She also has special interests in adoption and fostering support and neuropsychological assessment and intervention.  Dr Ashton-Shaw has worked in community, secure, residential and hospital settings and so has a wide range of experience in psychological, emotional and behavioural difficulties. 
Dr Ashton-Shaw has previously supported the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programmes at Liverpool and Manchester Universities; offering Trainee Clinical Psychologists placements within NHS roles and lecturing as part of the child and adolescent academic programmes (Liverpool University and  Lancaster University). 
Dr Ashton-Shaw provides specialist psychological assessment, formulation (a psychological understanding) and intervention for a wide range of mental health and emotional issues to support adults, children, adolescents and families.

Fees are usually £100 per hour for assessment and therapy work. Following an initial assessment (usually 90 minutes) a course of therapy is agreed. Most  problems can be addressed with 6-12 sessions. 
For neuropsychology assessment and treatment fees are £125.00 per hour (including scoring and interpretation of test results and report preparation). 

Cancellation fees
Cancelation with less than 24 hours notice or non-attendance; full session fee applies. Unfortunately it is necessary for us to apply cancellation fees due to the cost of room bookings and the difficulties of offering the session to other clients at short notice.
